57AbstractABBei einer optischen Vorrichtung zur bidirektionalen Ankopplung eines Wellenleiters (7) an ein externes Medium (6) soll die Kopplungsbandbreite der optischen Vorrichtung verbreitert werden, damit ein weites Spektrum an Wellenlängen über die optische Vorrichtung in ein externes Medium eingekoppelt werden kann. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass die optische Vorrichtung zumindest eine Taper-Struktur (2) umfasst, wobei die Taper- Struktur (2) ein Strahleneingangssegment (3) umfasst, wobei das Strahleneingangssegment (3) derart eingerichtet ist, einen Lichtstrahl (5) aus dem Wellenleiter (7) in die Taper-Struktur (2) einzukoppeln, die Taper- Struktur ein Strahlenausgangssegment (4) umfasst, wobei das Strahlenausgangssegment (4) derart eingerichtet ist, den Lichtstrahl (5) zu fokussieren und in das externe Medium (6) einzukoppeln, die Taper-Struktur (2) zwischen dem Strahleneingangssegment (3) und dem Strahlenausgangssegment (4) zumindest eine erste Reflexionsfläche (8) umfasst, wobei die erste Reflexionsfläche (8) derart eingerichtet den Lichtstrahl (5) aus der Ebene des Wellenleiters (7) heraus abzulenken.
