57	Abstract	AB	Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Zigarettenpapier, das ein wasserlösliches Salz, vorzugsweise Natriumhydrogencarbonat, Kaliumhydrogencarbonat oder Ammoniumcarbonat enthält, wodurch eine hohe Diffusionskapazität während des thermischen Zerfalls und damit eine Reduktion von schädlichem Kohlenmonoxid im Zigarettenrauch erreicht wird. Insbesondere betrifft die Erfindung ein Zigarettenpapier, das mindestens ein wasserlösliches Salz umfasst, das nach Aufheizen auf 230°C mehr als 15% seiner Ausgangsmasse verloren hat. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin eine Zigarette, die aus dem Zigarettenpapier gefertigt ist, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Zigarettenpapiers und die Verwendung des wasserlöslichen Salzes.
