57AbstractABEin Ventil einer Brennkraftmaschine wird von einem von einem Nocken beaufschlagten Schwinghebel betätigt. Der Abstützpunkt des Schwinghebels ist mittels eines aus einer Exzenterwelle herausgearbeiteten Exzenters verstellbar, um den Ventilhubverlauf variieren zu können. Die Nockenwelle sowie die Exzenterwelle sind durch einen gemeinsamen Lagerdeckel gelagert. Gleichzeitig dient dieser Lagerdeckel der Führung des Schwinghebels. Zu dieser äußerst kompakten Bauweise ist auch eine Ausführungsform mit zwei Einlaßventilen je Zylinder angegeben.
