57AbstractABDie Erfindung betrifft einen dielektrischen Motor, dessen Rotor von einer oder mehreren Elektroden umgeben ist und der im Inneren eine Öffnung besitzt, in der sich eine oder mehrere Elektroden befinden, um die sich der Rotor bewegen kann. Mögliche Anwendungsgebiete sind in der Mikroelektronik sowie der Mikromechanik etc. gegeben.$A Die wesentlichen Merkmale der Erfindung bestehen darin, daß der Rotor wahlweise über die inneren Elektroden und/oder die ihn umgebenden Elektroden mit Hilfe elektrischer Felder angesteuert werden kann. Die Kombination unterschiedlicher dielektrischer Materialien bei entsprechender Geometrie des Rotors in Verbindung mit der Feldanregungsart erlaubt schrittweisen, diskontinuierlichen oder gleichförmigen Lauf des Rotors. Die inneren Elektroden führen zu einem höheren Drehmoment.$A Der Motor läßt sich bis auf wenige Mikrometer miniaturisieren.
