57AbstractABEs wird eine Mittel- oder Niederspannungsschaltanlage beschrieben, die wenigstens ein Schaltfeld (10, 11, 12) aufweist, in dem sich folgende Komponenten befinden: Sammelschienen (13), Schalt-, Steuer- und Regelgeräte sowie ggf. Verteilschienen (21, 22, 23), die in jedem einzelnen Schaltfeld (10, 11, 12) vorgesehen sind, um den Strom von den Sammelschienen (13) zu den Einschüben (24, 25) zu verteilen. In die einzelnen Strompfade (13; 21, 22, 23) sind strombegrenzende Bauelemente (18, 19, 20) eingesetzt, die bei Auftreten eines Kurzschlußstromes oder allgemein einer unzulässigen Stromerhöhung ihren Widerstandswert erhöhen und so den Strom begrenzen. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, die Bemessung der Bauteile innerhalb des Schaltfeldes (10, 11, 12) auf reduzierte Ströme auszulegen.
