57AbstractABMinenleg- und Räumboote können nicht im gegnerischen Verteidigungsbereich Minen legen oder räumen, da sie vom gegnerischen Radar geortet oder optisch aufgeklärt und dann bekämpft werden können.$A Durch die konsequente Anwendung der Stealth-Technologie in Kombination mit einem stabilen Wassersprühschleier können die Stealth-Minenleg- und Räumboote nicht durch das gegnerische Radar geortet und nur schwer optisch aufgeklärt werden. Die IR-Signatur wird strategisch reduziert.$A Stealth-Minenleg- und Räumboote eignen sich besonders zum Einsatz in Marinekorps zur Vorbereitung von Seelandungen, bei Spezialeinheiten und in Kriegsmarinen zum verdeckten offensiven Minen legen und räumen. Der Bedarf kann auf mehrere hundert Stealth-Minenleg- und Räumboote für die NATO, UN-Peacekeepingkräfte und NATO-Verbündete geschätzt werden. Eine Weitergabe der Technologie an Nicht-NATO-Staaten ist streng zu limitieren.
