57AbstractABDie Erfindung betrifft eine Kraftwagenkarosserie, welche eine Säule, insbesondere eine B-Säule, und ein in Fahrzeuglängsrichtung verlaufendes Dachrahmenelement umfasst, die jeweils in Schalenbauweise ausgeführt sind. Hierbei ist eine innere Säulenschale mit einer inneren Rahmenschale sowie eine äußere Säulenschale mit einer äußeren Rahmenschale dergestalt verbunden, dass sich die innere Säulenschale in einem Verbindungsbereich zur inneren Rahmenschale über einen Flanschbereich hinaus in Fahrzeughochrichtung zumindest über eine Teilhöhe der inneren Rahmenschale erstreckt und so eine großflächige Anbindung der Säule an das Dachrahmenelement ermöglicht.
