57AbstractABDas Berechnungsverfahren detektiert Kollisionen zumindest zweier mittels jeweils eines Drehgittermodells (27) repräsentierter räumlicher Objekte (9, 9'). Die Drahtgittermodelle (27) umfassen eine Mehrzahl geschlossener und mittels Verbindungslinien (29) miteinander verbundener Linienzüge (28). Zu jeweils zwei benachbarten Linienzügen (28) eines Drahtgittermodells (27) wird ein beide Linienzüge (28) vollständig aufnehmendes Begrenzungsvolumen (31) errechnet. Aus den beiden Linienzügen (28) wird mittels Triangulation eine geschlossene Oberfläche aus Dreiecksflächen (36, 38) gebildet. Für jeden geschlossenen Linienzug (28) eines Drahtgittermodells (27) wird überprüft, ob zumindest einer seiner Punkte (39, 39', 39'') innerhalb eines Begrenzungsvolumens (31) eines Drahtgittermodells (27) eines weiteren Objektes (9, 9') liegt. Für jeden Punkt (39, 39', 39'') eines Drahtgittermodells (27), der in einem Begrenzungsvolumen (31) eines weiteren Drahtgittermodells (27) liegt, wird weiterhin überprüft, ob er auch innerhalb der geschlossenen Oberfläche liegt. Ist dies der Fall, liegt eine Kollision zwischen den beiden Objekten (9, 9') in diesem Punkt (39') vor.
